Daisy Patterson

Daisy Patterson is an Associate with the Center for Natural Resources and Environmental Policy (CNREP) at the University of Montana, Missoula. She has worked with several communities, agencies, and stakeholder groups in western Montana and the Eastern Sierras on designing and facilitating public processes to address issues related to landscape conservation, interagency coordination, land use planning and growth management, transportation, and fish and wildlife.

Ms. Patterson’s project experience demonstrates her ability to be sensitive and effective in working in a neutral capacity with multi-party stakeholder groups that are extremely contentious. She is adept at providing support services for community and stakeholder meetings including, but not limited to: meeting design, facilitation, logistical planning, and information distribution using a variety of technologies. Ms. Patterson lectures in the Natural Resource Conflict Resolution Program at the University of Montana, and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Intermountain Chapter of the International Association for Public Participation. Ms. Patterson received a Masters of Science in Environmental Studies with a focus on Natural Resource Conflict Resolution from the University of Montana, Missoula. Daisy can often be found digging in her garden, kayaking down rivers, or designing websites and animated works.
